Up to 3 internships

Three months at LofiStack.

Internship offers go to people, not teams. Through the event, proctors write down how you break a problem apart, how you work with your team, and what you do when something breaks with an hour left.

You can finish last and still get an offer. It has nothing to do with the scoreboard.

We will say the obvious part out loud: these four hours are also an interview, and we think that beats a CV screen. (Participants under 18 are not eligible for internship offers.)

Rules You
Must Know

Everything is public before registration opens, so you can read exactly how you will be judged and then decide. These eight are the ones people ask about most.

Teams of 2 to 4

Every team is scored the same way, whatever its size. Bring your own team. There is a Team Finder thread in the community if you are still looking.

All AI tools are allowed

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, anything you like. Nothing to declare. We want to see how well you use them.

Camera on, four checks

We announce every check before it happens. A blurred background is fine. Nobody is watching you between the checks.

Internet trouble is not your fault

Tell your team channel and it is never counted against you. Keep a phone hotspot ready, and we ask about your backup at registration.

Host it anywhere

Vercel, Netlify, Render, Cloudflare, your own server. All we need is a URL that opens for someone who has never seen your project.

Your speed bonus comes from your last commit

Keep building and your score goes up while the speed bonus comes down. Stop early and you keep the bonus. Your call, and the same rule for everyone. The bonus is zero unless 3 of the 4 MVP bullets work on both problems.

Open source is fine, with two limits

No AGPL, GPL or SSPL, and nothing marked non-commercial. MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD and ISC are all fine. You send a short LICENSES.md with what you used.

Everyone signs for themselves

Each member agrees to the terms with their own email. A team leader cannot accept on anyone else’s behalf.

Read this before you register

Who owns what you build

What you submit becomes LofiStack property. We write the problems, pay the prizes and run the event, and the work submitted at it is ours to use, change, publish or sell.

What you keep: the right to show it in your portfolio, the right to say publicly that you built it, and your name credited wherever we use it.

Every member agrees to this individually. A team leader cannot agree for you.

Most events hide this in clause fourteen. We are putting it on the front page instead. If you are not happy with it, please do not register. That is a completely fair decision and we would much rather you made it now.
